Washington D.C., Virginia and Maryland Microfilm Conversion Solution

Digital ReeL is a total microfilm conversion solution offering.  BMI will convert your microfilm to virtual, digital microfilm rolls at one of our secure, Northern California facilities (optional, on-site option available). The Digital ReeL microfilm conversion service creates a digital replica of your original microfilm (or microfiche). The digital replicas are virtual, digital representations of your microfilm rolls - the entire roll is digitally converted. The Digital ReeL microfilm conversion solution includes a software application that emulates a physical reader printer along with your virtual, digital microfilm rolls. The interface emulates microfilm retrieval using the virtual microfilm rolls or microfiche and a PC, eliminating the need for physical rolls and the hassles of using legacy, physical reader printers.

The Digital ReeL Microfilm Conversion Solution is Unique to the Industry

The Digital ReeL microfilm conversion solution is unique to the market due to its microfilm conversion accuracy, digital microfilm image quality and affordable price.

Microfilm Conversion Accuracy
BMI digitally converts the entire microfilm roll (or microfiche) so that no images are lost during the microfilm conversion process (lost images can occur with standard microfilm conversion services). The Digital ReeL microfilm conversion solution gives your organization an obvious way to examine your records to ensure that your entire microfilm archive has been digitally converted because you'll be able to scroll through your digital, virtual microfilm rolls to make sure that each roll was converted.

Adjustable Grayscale Image Enhancement Included
Adjustable grayscale is a standard feature with the Digital ReeL microfilm conversion solution. If you are having trouble reading some of your existing records on microfilm or microfiche, adjustable grayscale is a must-have feature. Once your records are digitally scanned, users will have the ability to alter the contrast and brightness of each image to ensure they are the highest quality prior to saving, printing or emailing.

Affordable Price
The Digital ReeL microfilm conversion solution requires no indexing and as a result our Maryland microfilm conversion solution is often 50% less than other, standard microfilm scanning services. Digital ReeL is often considered ideal for microfilm and microfiche archives that are not accessed on a regular basis.

Convenient Microfilm Delivery Options for Washington D.C., Virginia and Maryland Clients

Although BMI Imaging is located in Northern California, our microfilm conversion solution is available nationwide. If you have a Washington-, Virginia- or Maryland-based microfilm conversion project, BMI offers several options. For clients located in the East Coast such as Washington D.C., Virginia or Maryland, FedEx and UPS are often perfectly viable options. If your information is highly secure and you require absolute record safety during transfer, BMI combines our Washington D.C., Virginia and Maryland microfilm scanning solution with BRINKS.
