Digital ReeL is a total microfiche conversion solution. BMI Imaging will convert your microfiche (or microfilm) to digital, virtual microfiche images at one of our secure facilities. On-site options are available if your records cannot leave your facility. The entire microfiche or microfilm roll is digitally converted as part of our Oregon microfiche conversion solution.

The Digital ReeL microfiche conversion solution includes a software application that emulates microfiche retrieval from a reader printer. Users retrieve virtual microfiche images from a PC workstation, avoiding the hassles that come with physical microfiche and legacy reader printers.

On Premise Installations and Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) Options Available

• On Premise: Once BMI completes the microfiche conversion service at or facility, we'll send your IT department your digital microfiche records along with the Digital ReeL software. Users access records from a computer workstation(s) through the Digital ReeL application.
• Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) Option: BMI completes the Oregon microfiche conversion service at our California facility and then stores your converted microfiche records at our data center. Your users access their images from the Digital ReeL web interface over the Internet. By combining Digital ReeL with BMI's Document Hosting Service, you can eliminate up-front capital expenditures and avoid the troubles of purchasing servers, storage and the IT resources.
