Newark, New Jersey Microfiche Conversion Solution

Digital ReeL is a microfiche conversion solution available to New Jersey government agencies and private companies. Performing the microfiche conversion service in our secure, California facility, BMI Imaging offers Digital ReeL nationwide to federal, state and local government departments and agencies. Recorders, clerks, courts, law enforcement, title companies and private companies such as finance and insurance organizations have come to trust their microfiche conversion requirements to Digital ReeL.

What Makes Digital ReeL Unique?

BMI Imaging completes the microfiche conversion service at our secure, California facility (optional, on-site option available). Our microfiche conversion service creates a digital, virtual replica of your original microfiche (or microfilm). We convert the entire microfiche or microfilm roll. Digital ReeL includes a software application that models microfiche and microfilm retrieval from a reader printer. Users retrieve virtual microfiche and microfilm rolls from a PC workstation just as they would from a physical reader printer - only now avoiding the hassles that come with physical microfiche and legacy reader printers.

  • Affordable Price: Digital ReeL is often 50% less than other microfiche conversion methods and is ideal for those infrequently accessed microfiche and microfilm archives that have yet to be digitally converted.
  • Microfiche Conversion Accuracy: We scan microfiche and microfilm records (also aperture cards) with near-100% accuracy because the entire microfiche or microfilm roll is converted. No images or details are lost, digitally preserving your microfiche, microfilm and aperture cards exactly as they appeared in their physical state.
  • Image Quality: Adjustable grayscale comes standard with Digital ReeL so that users can optimize tough-to-read images by adjusting the contrast and brightness of the image prior to emailing, printing or saving a record.

On Premise Installations and Hosted Options

  • Hosted Option: BMI completes not only the microfiche conversion process, but also stores your digitally converted records at our secure data center.
