Health Care Industry Document and Microfilm Scanning
BMI has years of experience working with hospitals, service providers and insurance companies. We have the capability to convert, index and deliver your EOBs, HCFA 1500 forms and clinical data in a digital format of your choice.

Electronic filing of medical records offers a myriad of benefits, including improved patient care, FTE cost reduction, cost containment, space economies, confidentiality, compliance and liability control. With the legal requirements to keep medical files for up to 21 years, converting those patient records to a digital format and importing them into your application or hosting them with BMI makes more sense than ever.

BMI offers flexible and customized solutions that conform to the systems you have in place today, including:

  • Scanning and data key entry of your claims files
  • Rules-based data extrapolation that match specifically to your claims host application requirements
  • Integration with your current applications (e.g. claims processing) that includes custom, regular bulk file uploads into your system
  • Hot key access to images within your own system
  • Document hosting with BMI that includes secure access to your files from the Internet

Our services are independent of the actual software you select which allows us to format the digital data to your specified format for easy import into the electronic record system. We support all industry standard digital formats and can deliver the data on the media of your choice.
